Re. your biography article: hope you weren't too irritated about the reactions. The first thing was that the previous version (now deleted, and not your work) had been a copy from a website and therefore had to be deleted. You did the right thing by creating a new version on the /Temp page, but then somebody else came along and failed to understand the context. Point is, we tend to be a bit cautious about people writing about themselves on Wikepedia, because we sometimes have problems with "vanity articles". But yours looks fine now. Thanks for uploading Image:MS-Jeannine.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
