[edit] John Stott addition
Thankyou for contributing to the article on John Stott. Your addition, though interesting, unfortunately does not meet the criteria for inclusion on wikipedia, which include the policies in WP:Verify which state:
- The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. "Verifiable" in this context means that any reader should be able to check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source. Editors should provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is challenged or is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed.
So if you cannot provide a reliable source for this factoid, it will unfortunately be unable to be kept in the article, per the criteria of wikipedia.
For what it's worth, I have for some time been interested in the section on annihilationism, since I had heard that he was always a lot more agnostic on annihilationism than the section makes out - but have not yet had time to look into it by getting reliable sources etc. TJ 11:08, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- If you can dig out a book or a published sermon that expands his position on annihilationism, then that may stand a chance of getting in the article. But I fear that your repeated edits may have already given a bad impression to other Wikipedia writers, who may hold your future contributions to a very high standard indeed --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:08, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
