[edit] LIPS
Thank you for your LIPS article. Please note that although you have permission to reuse the material, not all of the words on the website are appropriate to a Wikipedia article.
For example, the reference to "website" in the disclaimer is inappropriate here (Wikipedia may be published in other forms, and it does not refer to the Wikipedia website anyway). Also, as the article can (and will be) edited by others, it isn't solely the words of the original authors, so the disclaimer is not required.

- It's not the EU commission's website, so the disclaimer is not required. In fact, it is inappropriate. And funding was already mentioned in the intro section; I don't see why it needs a separate section.
- Regarding the sentence in "This page explains, that Leonardo da Vinci funded project has to use the logo in every publication." Wikipedia is not one of their/your publications; furthermore, if your permission to reuse their material requires inclusion of this sentence, then it is not suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Sorry. Fourohfour 13:33, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- BTW, I apologise for (mistakenly) removing the category when I reverted. The category was fine; no problems there. Fourohfour 13:38, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Marcus
- The paragraph "Funding" must be mentioned on this way, its a rule of the funding program Leonardo da Vinci. I have deleted it from the top, hope this is ok. No problem that you have deleted the category, I have added it again - I was just wondering why ist was gone ;)

- I'm sorry, I should have explained myself better. Although "Leonardo da Vinci" *can* require that information in articles which they own or fund, they CAN NOT REQUIRE the inclusion of the information in a Wikipedia article. They do not own Wikipedia, and Wikipedia would not agree to such terms anyway.
-
- These terms of use are not suitable for Wikipedia, and the material cannot be included. Sorry, but that's policy. Imagine how complicated life would get if we agreed to different licenses for every edit. Wikipedia would be unworkable.
