[edit] Image tagging for Image:Tp3 05.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Tp3 05.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] License tagging for Image:Chgmr05.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Chgmr05.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:06, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Coexhotel04.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Coexhotel04.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:18, 3 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih 00:18, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate Image:Seoulsub005.jpg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Seoulsub005.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Seoulsub005.jpg is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Seoulsub005.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Seoul Train Stations
Please consider adding these images to the appropriate stations rather than the main article. Articles aren't meant to be galleries and this many images really adds unnecessary length to the article and doesn't really add much.--Crossmr (talk) 05:03, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:HyundaiDept07.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:HyundaiDept05.jpg. The copy called Image:HyundaiDept05.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 03:29, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image Copyright
I don't believe you have the copyright on this image Image:Seoulines.jpg or the multitude of others you've derived from it. They are far too perfect a reproduction of the actual images. I believe they were taken from a website or perhaps scanned from a transit map/brochure. Wikipedia:Non-free content Please read this for what constitutes fair use. If you've scanned these images and combined them in to a single graphic, that doesn't make it your work. If these were even to be used in the article you'd need to include the appropriate license on the image itself.--Crossmr (talk) 21:43, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

--Memming (talk) 22:26, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bonjour

Sur en cela porte le nom de "Edit summary (Briefly describe the changes you have made):".
[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Hoegista07.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Hoegista07.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Images
Hi Marcopolis, it seems you're very keen on adding images to articles about Seoul. Image galleries are discouraged on Wikipedia - if I could draw your attention to Wikipedia:Writing better articles (also see the maintenance tag posted on the image gallery at Seoul), images should directly reference the text in the article. Hence, while it may seem logical to include several pictures of what can be seen in COEX (or any other entity, but this is a good example) such as Megabox, the outer courtyard etc., it may not be the right thing to do. One or two images to identify something is fine, but adding more is problematic.
When you have too many images to fit to the right of the text then you are tempted to create an "image gallery" which should be hosted elsewhere. Wikimedia Commons is a great place for such galleries, and you're probably aware about sites like Flickr. I hope this helps clear up some of the misconceptions you may have about images on WP. Anyone who takes the time and effort to upload freely licensed media is awesome, but there are still a few rules to abide by when so doing. Thanks, Deiz talk 15:07, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I understand, I wont make anymore photo gallery type and only put one or two images if there are a relation with the article. I just wanted to put photos on the articles to illustrate it and to give a better point of view on the subject. But I will put the images in Wikimedia commons or others sites if it is better. Thank you for your advice. I'm a student and I still have much to learn :S ... (Please understand me my english is bad.)
- Hi Marcopolis. I was very surprised to see you restore the gallery on Gangnam Station, in light of my post above and your reply. Restoring such content - especially when you have asserted you understand why, and would not add it again - is considered disruptive and can lead to restrictions on your ability to edit Wikipedia. Please don't add any more image galleries, especially ones full of generic photos of subway stations, attached to short articles. I also reversed your move of Korea University Station, station articles should be capitalized. Thanks, Deiz talk 01:32, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hwasong Castle image
I believe the Hwaseong Fortress image in the infobox should be representative of the structure. The image that you posted is - although may be good does not represent the structure given the long shot, low level of details other such characteristics. Please refer to Wikipedia:Writing better articles. If you think you can have a better image than the current info box image, then please upload and replace the info box image accordingly. Otherwise, it is a good idea to leave the West gate image there. Also, after releasing/uploading the image, consider adding it to Wikipedia Commons OlkhichaAppa (talk) 02:08, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Block
Hi Marcopolis. Sorry it came to this, but given your repeated failure to act in accordance with image policy and reverts / removals of image edits you previously agreed were mistaken, I've blocked your account for 24 hours. I hope when the block expires you will be able to edit appropriately with regard to images. Please contact me if you wish to discuss this. Deiz talk 16:11, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
