Mr. Thomsen owns one of the most respected and old boats in Copenhagen. The boat is 103 years old, and is a (Gaffelrigget Aalekvas) also known under the name Jagt.

Mr. Thomsen. has through his studies come to develop a keen interest in Shipping. "Shipping is a business that fascinates me in particular since it requires a deep understanding of consumer needs and the trends that affect them. I find Shipco to be a particularly interesting company due to its edge-innovativeness".

"Despite differences in nature of work, common characteristics for all my previous working experiences are a high degree of social contact, a high rate of work and a great degree of own responsibility. As I consider effectiveness, pro-activeness and a high level of verbal and written communications skills, to be main strengths, this has suited me very well."

Mr. Thomsen is also a boardmember of the Organisation called "Heraldik" and is doing a great effort i that specific area.
