I'm a resident and native of Hawaiʻi, though I am not a Native Hawaiian.

I'm a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1994.

Since then I've been employed by Hughes Aircraft (1994–1997), then GeoCities (1997–1999) until it was acquired by Yahoo!, where I now work (1999–present). I am mainly a Unix System administrator, specializing at the moment in DNS administration.

Some of my hobbies include:

• Singing Barbershop music (I belong to the Barbershop Harmony Society)
• Cub Scouting (I'm a den leader)
• Role-playing games (especially Dungeons & Dragons)
• Board games
• Computer and video games
