I am Mark J. Jones and I have a PhD in phonetics from the University of Cambridge, England. Currently (September 2007) I hold a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from the British Academy, and am enganged in research on numerous topics (frication of /t/, acoustics and acquisition of /r/, trill production) in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Cambridge. My interests are speech production, sound change, and laboratory phonology.
