[edit] Marilyn Haight

Haight, a former organization development consultant, is an author best known for her undercover research that exposed 13 personality types most likely to abuse power in organizations. She accomplished what Barbara Ehrenreich was unable to: getting hired in middle management positions to observe and document managerial behavior that is hidden from other research consultants. Her findings are documented in her book, Who's Afraid of the Big, Bad Boss? 13 Types and How to Survive Them; 2006; ISBN 0741426692. The book was reviewed in a two-part series by The Washington Post and has also been reviewed in newspapers and magazines around the world. It will be published in China and Korea in 2007.

Also an adult education specialist, Haight writes how-to books that people can actually learn from. She also writes essays that take on serious and humorous topics, and award-winning poetry.
