[edit] Work In Progress

Currently only discusses BGE as if deregulation only affected that utility, will need added discussion of Pepco & Delmarva & Allegheny Power. Also does not mention Senate Bill 1 passed during 2006 Special Session, as written implies 1999 legislation capped prices to 2007. Also, not sure if article at the beginning should have such a political bent since, e.g., all Republican members in the General Assembly voted for the 1999 legislation and it did not impact any politics then or for a few years (not mentioned in any political statements). Maybe better to focus on the political aspect since 2006, when it started playing an important part in the state elections (issue still ongoing). Deanlaw (talk) 15:06, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
