[edit] Information not verified
User Segrant (contribs) added the following, for which no verification has been found in independent and reliable sources:
- 1st edit: "Mary Wells Lawrence is one of the five founders of wowOwow.com, a website created, owned, and written by women for women. WOW will launch on March 8, 2008, International Women’s Day.[1]"
- 2nd edit: "The WOW contributors are Candice Bergen, Joan Juliet Buck, Joan Ganz Cooney, Joni Evans, Whoopi Goldberg, Judith Martin, Sheila Nevins, Peggy Noonan, Julia Reed, Liz Smith, Lesley Stahl, Marlo Thomas, Lily Tomlin, Jane Wagner, and Mary Wells.[2]" and "* wowOwow" in the External links section.
- 3rd edit: re-added the above after I had copyedited (e.g. Candice Bergen with no comma in article title) and embedded it.

As per policies and guidelines which include Wikipedia is not a crystal ball and the biographies of living persons guideline, the unverified information should be removed.
Rather than removing it wholesale, I embedded it by commenting it out with <!-- --> markup so that it will be easier to include if and when it is verified. — Athaenara ✉ 00:30, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
User Renherring (contribs) has been adding the same unverified information to what looks like the same list of articles. What's going on here?
I posted about this on Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Single purpose accounts Renherring and Segrant and invite both users to click on the link and contribute to discussion there. — Athaenara ✉ 01:10, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
