Way back in 1941 Mary McCarthy (author) complained to her agent about being confused with the screenwriter (who's work she detested). Now thanks to Sandra Brennan and All Movie Guide, the careers of the two have been fused into one sticky, unhistorical, amalgamm. If anyone can find the correct birth and death dates for the screenwriter that would be helpful. This is difficult to do since she is commonly credit with being born on the dates Mary McCarthy (author) was born. SAWIT 10:16 04 June, 2006
