And CBS was right to fire her

Abu Ghraib was 'broken' by the military, who announced it to the media at a press conference.

That was done under the pressure of the imminent story to be aired on 60 Minutes. The military would not have "broken" the story if it was not for the 60 Minutes story. --Asbl 20:24, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
The military investigation was already in progress before Mapes and the Military did announce it first, that being the definition of 'broke'. August 30, 2006
