[edit] My conflict of interest

This is to note my conflict of interest. I knew her somewhat when we both lived in the village in the 1980's. I can not feel unbiased about her. I harbored bad feelings about her, after one particular incident, for many years. Thus, I have a conflict of interest and wish to avoid making any unconcious mistakes. I made two small edits, but did not mark them as minor, for this reason. I added the Columbia University site to the external links, and a bit about her residence in New Paltz, NY. Please help edit this article. I do think she is a very moderately important living American writer. Bearian 19:22, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
