[edit] Birthyear
Was Mary Beth born in 1930 or 1940? IMDB states 1940. Hotwine8 03:09, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
I'm led to believe Mary Beth Peil was born in 1940, not 1930. When I first read 1930, I was astounded, since I worked with her in a 1962 Goldovsky Opera Tour of "La Traviata". All our publicity said that she was 21 and a recent graduate of Northwestern and Music Academy of the West. All her later credits, including more Golcovsky Tours, St. Paul Opera World Premiere of Hoiby's "Summer and Smoke" would seem to support the 1940 date. Edward Alley
