Marvin Webb is a post-modern symbol of community and racial harmony.

This article is insane, The American Dream for Illinois? Inarguably? I would edit it, but I have a soft spot for preach and hyperbole. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.135.198.15 (talk) 05:25, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Yup, the article has problems. I've looked it over a couple times now trying to figure out how to make better fit the guidelines. The subject has a decent claim to notability with reliable sources, but the article and the human interest story sources center around Preach as a local town character and feel-good community symbol. That makes it hard to cut out POV, as the article builds to the grand conclusion of the last two sentences. Those two need to go away and the remainder needs toning down and fact expansion. I've tagged it with story, perhaps that will inspire changes. Michael Devore 07:47, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
