Talk:Marvin Mitchelson/Comments

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi,

I was a friend of Marvin Mitchelson. In fact, we did time together. I was his French teacher, and he was an avid student. He had a ton of fascinating stories about various celebritiessuch as Richard Harris, Groucho Marx, Mel Torme, the Beatles, and many more.

I'm not certain if he ever served in FCI Lompoc, but I do know that he was in FMC Ft. Worth during the time I knew him.

Long after we both were released, I visited him in Los Angeles. His vitality, charm and wit were, as always, bright and shining. I called him while he was in the hospital. He had beaten different cancers and was looking forward to the future. Not long after, he died.

He was a brilliant and kind man, and I am honored to have called him friend.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
