Talk:Marvels of the East

- It was suggested that this article or section be merged into Nowell Codex, but this would not be appropriate as this text appears in various ancient manuscripts and languages. Therefore I have removed the suggestion from the main article. Digipoet 17:50, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- A merge with a redirect would take care of this issue. --- Safemariner 15:43, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- I don't believe it does. I can understand why one might think so; this article is under-formed, and therefore it doesn't seem necessary to maintain a unique page for the subject. In regards to that state, however, it has been made clear that this article is a stub. Digipoet 16:07, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- The other argument for a merge, as I understand it, is if the information given is already well provided elsewhere, in this case the article on the Nowell Codex. I maintain that The Marvels of the East exists in more than one codex, in more than one language, and, as with in version bound in Cotton Tiberius B v, is one of the most illuminated ancient texts known today. However, since I have only studied the version in the Nowell Codex, I was hoping that someone more knowledgeable would help me fill in the blanks. Digipoet 16:07, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
