This article seems rather incomplete without at least some mention of the scandal and subsequent cancellation of Wild America after the allegations of animal cruelty and deception used by Stouffer in the filming of the show. robo 22:43, 20 July 2007 (UTC) (edit)

Controversy? I understood that Wild America was cancelled and Marty Stouffer was disgraced after it was discovered that he had staged many violent encounters between animals, sometimes setting up unrealistic but sensational matchups, such as a mountain lion killing a (tame) lynx..
No mention of this at all is strange...
Do you have any sources on this? And I wonder if you could say whether these allegations were ever proven. Me (talk) 18:25, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
