[edit] paragraph alleging fraud against another living person removed

I've removed a paragraph which alleged fraud against someone (not the subject of the article.) I of course have no personal involvement, but this is against WP:BLP, I don't know if you are allowed to say it if you use words like 'alleged' etc, you'd have to look it up there, but feel free to add it again but changed so as not to name the person accused .-- Merkinsmum (talk) 21:50, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

That would actually worsen the situation, as any previous administrator could claim they were being defamed. There are no arguments over the facts of the case. Numerous references (including contemporaneous published accounts) are provided. The person in question has never denied what she did, and provided a written statement at the time. It's a key historic event in recent sf fandom (on both sides of the Atlantic) and deserves not to be whitewashed out of existence. Ghostwords (talk) 19:54, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
