James Martin High School is Arlington's leading school with leading athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular activities.

The James Martin High School Athletics: Cross Country and Track - District Champs Volley ball - State Champs Tennis - District Champs Girls Soccer - presently holding first in district as of March 6 Swimming - District Champs

The James Martin High School Fine Arts: Orchestra is rank 5 in the All-state TMEA string division Choir has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City

The Choir, Band, and Orchestra all sent more students to All-Region and All-Area than any other Arlington School.

The combined number of the three organizations sent a total of 21 student's to the TMEA All-State.
