[edit] Age Fabrication
I have removed the section on Ms. MacCallum lying about her age. I searched google and found no evidence that she has lied about her age. Until someone provides said evidence, it will kept off this page. Abacab 04:57, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
the sources were shown in the links her age is revealed in her wedding announment in the new york times back in 1992 and in the interviews that are linked as sources she reveals her ages inconsistently
The purported interviews do not quote Ms. McCallum as saying she was in her early 30s during the 2002 interview - this is the assertion of the writer of the USA today column. The writer does not say why she thinks Ms. MacCallum is in her early 30s or the source of the writers belief about Ms. MacCallum's age. The person who originally posted the alleged "discrepancy" has not factual leg to stand on. 204.14.239.174 12:26, 11 April 2007 (UTC)virago81
[edit] Women's Issues
I removed derogatory allegations against Ms. McCallum that had no citations. Slinging mud at public figures on Wikipedia is certainly acceptable _IF_ adequate sources can be cited. The section in question had no citations whatsoever, had no particular point (in what way were the alleged incidents indicative of Ms. MacCallum's stance on "women's issues")? They amounted to slanderous hearsay. Virago81 12:36, 11 April 2007 (UTC)virago81
