Talk:Marshall Teague

[edit] inclusion in the "Automotive related biography" category
I removed from the Category "Automotive related biography" because being a racer doesn't warrant being in that category. Otherwise EVERY racer should be in that category. Royalbroil 23:59, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

- And I am reinstating that because Teague drove for the Hudson team. And what does it matter if every driver is in that category, anyway? Stude62 00:33, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- "Race car drivers" is a subcategory of "Automotive related biography", and "NASCAR drivers" is a subcategory of "Race car drivers". So Teague is a member of the category by being a member of the grandchild category. I don't understand your rationale for adding Teague to the "Automotive related biography". He's not an automotive pioneer, just a driver. Do you want to put it up for a vote? Royalbroil 03:36, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Two other comments: 1) There is no mention of his involvement at Hudson other than as a driver. If you are aware of any development/promotion/etc that he did for Hudson, then please be write into the article. That possible information might significantly change what categories are appropriate for Marshall. 2) He raced at Indy in a non-Hudson car. Royalbroil 03:47, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

- The "automotive related biography" category was left because of his work in developing the Hudson engines. Royalbroil 23:07, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
