[edit] Other info

Bloom grew up in a orthodox Jewish household in Denver, Colorado. He attended Amherst College, in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Following Amherst, Bloom spent a year at the London School of Economics, where he was involved in a student protest about the incoming college president. Bloom received bad press on both sides of the Atlantic when a college employee suffered a fatal heart attack upon seeing the protesting students. Bloom was suspended, and eventually reinstated at LSE.

LNS moved from Washington, D.C. to New York City following the Columbia University Protest of 1968. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Amystevens (talk • contribs)
