It seems plausible that some of the material from this article was based on the following document that I found on-line, authored by Jon W. Jacobsmeyer, with the title "The Marquardt Story": http://www.jacobsmeyer.com/Marquardt/Table%20of%20Contents.htm . There is no date on the story. What it says, and what's reported in the article on Marquardt in Wikipedia, is consistent with what my father recalls from the late 1940's and early 1950's. He worked for Marquardt (and with Roy Marquardt) for 18 months in 1949-1950 both at the Venice facility and the Van Nuys facility.Mack2 03:56, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
