Talk:Marlowe Sawyer

I just don't see the need for a separate page for characters in a show. --Pigman (talk • contribs) 21:03, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I disagree completely. Especially for this show, the interpersonal relationships among the characters are very relevant, as are the biographies of each. However, while Marlowe was important, for a brief time in season four, I'm not sure how I feel about him having his own article. At least, not in its current state. - Oh yes, I agree that the interpersonal relationships are important but I still think all the information on the show should be in a main article. If there are breakout sections from the article, well and good. It just seems scattered and doesn't serve the information to create minor articles. I'm seeking advice on this point at What Wikipedia is not in case you want to follow up. --Pigman (talk • contribs) 20:41, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Still think this needs to merge
A bit of research into the policies and guidelines on the subject of articles on minor characters from TV and movies came up with Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability (fiction). While this isn't a definitive answer, I feel it makes a pretty good case for merging it into the main Nip/Tuck article. --Pigman (talk • contribs) 00:32, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
No it doesn't. Each character on the show has their own article. Why on earth would he be any different? Where would you merge his information with? There is nothing in the main article that would be appropriate to put information about him. He needs his own article, it just need to be expanded a little bit.
