Marla Maples was engaged in 1999 to novelist Norman Mailer's son Michael but they never married.

Marla Maples was mentioned on VH1's Best Week Ever, saying, "... and according to wikipedia, that's all she's really known for" in reference to marrying Donald Trump. I thought that was pretty cool.
