Hello, Welcome to Wikipedia and it's a good thing that you are willing to contribute, however it's not a common thing to remove decent information out of articles. I have now reverted your edits on Markus Rosenberg three times. Please don't remove the information again, but try to add the information you are sharing in the current article instead. If you have any questions, please let me know. SportsAddicted | discuss 16:39, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

yes yes, but for me it is not complete, and not a good page to see, a lot of piled words, without spaces between the sentences, and WHY do you have the priority???? putting many wrong information by the way, why YOU have this priority???? who gave you??????

I am pretty sure that he has 1.83cm and NOT 178, so what???? still putting WRONG information based in Ajax WRONG page?????

I will remove the height forever if you insist to put 178. AND HIS NICKNAME IS MACKAN, darling, Macka do not exist in Sweden. Mackan is a common nickname to Marcus and Markus.

Ok, revert to this wrong page and informations. But I will remove wrong information day by day. Kily18

No problem with that, I believe you when you say Mackan is the nickname used instead of Macka. I also want to believe that he is 183 cm instead of 178 cm, but the Ajax website says 178 cm and can be considered as being a reliable source. Do you have a reliable source telling us that he is actually 183 cm? If you do, please tell us where we can find it, so we can work on it. Further... it's ok if you want to change the lay-out and add information you would like to share, but you removed a whole part of his time at Ajax and I don't think that should be done here. I copy-edited the article now and I have added your information back into the article, but without removing the necessary information. Cheers, SportsAddicted | discuss 01:49, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

I should admit that you have reason to say that I could add info without remove the whole article. It is a good thing that we have reached agreement. About the height, yes, the OFFICIAL page of Sweden Football is enough, I wrote to them and they confirmed that he has 1.83cm, also, I was already side by side with him and I have 1.74cm and I can guarantee that he measured about 10cm more than me, if you still have doubt about it, check out in Official Svensk Fotboll page, Cheers!! I'm glad we have come to a solution, however it would be better to have more than one website telling us he is 183 cm, as currently we have one saying 178 and another one saying 183, so it's 50-50. If we can make that more in percentage we have more reason to have that length mentioned. SportsAddicted | discuss 08:03, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm, the FIFA website says he is 184 cm, which makes the 183 more reliable than the 178, however it looks like he keeps growing ;) SportsAddicted | discuss 08:05, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

two more sites put that he has 1.84cm http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1945613/bio and 1.85cm http://worldcup.espnsoccernet.com/player?id=32317&lang=en BBC Sports UK put 1.85cm too http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/shared/bsp/hi/football/statistics/players/internationals/r/rosenberg_224885.stm I told you, looks like he has more than 10cm of me. Kily18

Looks good, now we have enough reason to keep it like this. Thanks for the research. SportsAddicted | discuss 00:37, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Is he Jewish? --1523 20:20, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

No. Although Rosenberg is a common surname among Jews in America, it's also a common surname among Swedes. Many Swedes have the -berg suffix in their last name, such as fellow soccer players Olof Mellberg and Fredrik Ljungberg.--83.249.229.204 (talk) 18:42, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
