How about a picture?

[edit] Marijuana and schizophrenia

added a note about marijuana contributing to his schizophrenia as described in his book. it is important anecdotal evidence that those predisposed to schizophrenia should be careful with marijuana. personally, fwiw, i am for decriminalization, but i have also seen this schizophrenia effect of marijuana first-hand. marijuana is not always a "good" thing, just as schizophrenia is not always a "bad" thing. but most schizophrenics would rather not aggravate their symptoms.

Though perhaps not a well organized or well developed entry, this entry's odd assortment of facts are fittingly Vonnegutian.

[edit] Comment from Father at a lecture

I went to a lecture by Kurt Vonnegut, who said that he was not proud of his son for getting over his illness, because his son had done nothing to overcome it. This lecture was in 1986 or so, and is a very strong memory for me. The lecture was at Florida State University. I would like to include this comment, but I'm not sure how, or whether it's appropriate. Hires an editor 21:40, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm from Vancouver and I hadn't heard of it but apparently it at least did exist in New Westminster (a Vancouver suburb) CraigMacinnis (talk) 21:33, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
