[edit] loan

The text says Liverpool tried to sign him on loan but failed, but the infobox says Liverpool bought him in 2005 and loaned him out to Albacete. Which is right?  SLUMGUM  yap  stalk  22:34, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

I think both are right! My understanding is that Liverpool attempted to take him on loan, with a view to a permanent deal, but were refused a work permit. They then decided to buy him anyway. He was then loaned back to Albacete to recouperate. I haven't bothered to do any research to back this up btw, it's just how I remember it, aLii 23:49, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
