[edit] notability
It is currently unclear whether this person is notable enough for an article on Wikipedia, since no secondary sources are cited. His position alone does not make him notable. By the notability criteria for biographies, independent reliable sources are required to make sure that the subject is notable. These sources might be, for example, significant press coverage about the person (about him, not about his employer or organization), or an independent biography.
It may well be possible that such sources exist. However, currently no such sources are cited in the article. Please add such sources to establish notability. The external links given refer to his employer or their affiliates, they are not independent sources.
For the time being, I am replacing the “importance” tag with “notability”. Sorted as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 10:15, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
