As to whether Marion actually recorded Elvis on the recording session of My Happiness is disputed. Sam Phillips, in Billy Poore's book, 'Rockabilly; a 40 year journey', expressed his displeasure that this version of events persists, claiming that due to the cost of recording materials and the expertise involved, it was he alone who first recorded the young Elvis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.249.162.132 (talkcontribs)
