[edit] Pardon my engrish prease

This article appears to be written by somebody with very poor engrish. "The six special items rewarded are somewhat having similar nature among different characters. E.g. completing the challenge game in Mario Stage will be rewarded with an invincible-endowing item." It's completely unreadable. Somebody please fix this. PsychoJosh 07:29, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Did you ever finished the whole game?--195.24.2.34 07:03, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Game out yet?

Is the game out yet? If not, then this statement wouldnt apply: The game is noted for being the first Mario Kart to feature a playable character outside the Mario series: Namco's Pac-Man. Mario Kart DS also has a character not from the Mario universe. --Darkain Dragoon 16:30, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

The game has been out in Japan for some time now. So yes, Pac-Man is the first non-Mario character in a Mario Kart game.
If the game is out then surely the banner stating that it's a "video game in production" should be removed. And the second non-Mario character to appear in the series must be Ms Pac-man and not ROB as the article says. --Ukdan999 23:44, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Don't forget Blinky the red ghost! That makes four: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Blinky, and ROB. - NES Boy 00:30, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
There is no R.O.B. in the Arcade version of the game --Chanpokwan 04:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

I think they forgot to put Waluigi, Daisy and Dry Bones. Still, it is a fantastic game, of course. Anything Else (a.k.a.) David 7:06 17 April 2006

[edit] Where is it here?

Well when is it released here? All I heard was it was in Japan. Everyone's saying that it was released in November everywhere in Japan and the USA, but it may be an urban legend. Unless someone snuck some into here....... (Plainnym 12:29, 22 May 2006 (UTC))

There is a machine in a bowling alley in Richmond, Kentucky. Cerebralpayne 10:19, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
There are two machines in the Game Room at Nathans in Yonkers, New York as well.--68.237.116.249 00:07, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, Cerebralpayne! Is it fully translated or is it a Japanese version? (Plainnym 17:42, 27 May 2006 (UTC))

I never said anything about R.O.B. being in the game. This section isn't about that. (Plainnym 13:27, 12 June 2006 (UTC))

Oops, sorry! I moved it to the above section. Sorry not so familiar with the editing part of Wiki :P--Chanpokwan 02:48, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Anetode has been deleting this information from the main article, citing "No Original Research". I still feel like this is useful information, and the No Original Research page does say that you can leave a list on an article and say that it needs sources, instead of deleting it outright. If Anetode was being really picky about No Original Research, the whole article could be deleted since there are no external sources for anything. I'll put this here until you guys can find a source on it. Cas510 20:01, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stage Listings:

The Stage Listing is woefully incomplete, altough I do realise this is a very hard to find game. It states there are four stages in each setting. Technically, theres two different stages, with the other two tracks being mirror mode versions of those tracks. The track list needs to be complete with the different names for the two stages (For instance one of the Rainbow Courses is called Rainbow Coaster). I would do this myself, but it seems a bit much to head halfway down the country just to go to a Mario Kart GP machine, so if anyone else has recently played the game - please add the stages! --ACE Spark 15:52, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Memory Card

The article says that the arcade machine saves player information to a memory card. Does anyone know what kind of memory card? CompactFlash? SD? GameCube? Cas510 14:35, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Magnetic cards (those used by MTR in Hong Kong years ago), same as those of Wangan Midnight.--195.24.2.34 07:02, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

At the MOA, the MKAGP machines do not save to a magnetic card. Does anyone know if the card reader/writer is optional? --Blah2 15:41, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mario Kart Arcade GP in Maryland

Is there a Mario Kart Arcade GP machine in Maryland.

[edit] Difference in the one I found

There IS a Mario Kart Arcade GP at a Chuck E. Cheese in my area, but it doesn't have the magnetic swipe card like the article says. Also, you can't customize your own face after the camera snaps the picture. Finally, there's no engine classes listed, only the Cups shown range from Easy to Master. 216.120.135.222 14:16, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cheapest on Web

Can someone find the cheapest machine available? Superjustinbros. 21:36, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
