[edit] RE: "Bike Punx" in notable alumni section

Thanks for your edits to Marina High School. However, you should provide reliable, secondary sources of these individuals notability. Belonging to a cycling club is not, unfortunately, proof of notability nor is being in an "international criminal bicycle club" of which I can find no evidence - most international criminal gangs will be known by Interpol or similar organisations. I guess the best guideline here would be WP:SPORT. There aren't specific guidelines for cyclists, but the general guideline for notability is "Have participated in a major international amateur or professional competition such as the Olympics, Pan-American Games or the World Baseball Classic." You are welcome to re-add the information, citing appropriate sources. I am also adding this information to the IP editor's talk page. Thanks! --Kateshortforbob 09:09, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bike Punx

Bike Punx is a local bicycle club that was founded simultaniously in Hawaii and in Huntington Beach. The club in Hawaii is know mostly for its monthly Riddical Riddazz Midnight Ride, a moderate paced bike party through the streets of Honolulu and Wakiki. BPX also donates both time and resources to KVIBE, a local bicycle co-op that permotes cycleing and a healthy life style. KVIBE helps the children of lower income houseing gain bikes by learning how to work on them. BPX was also featured in a Star Bulletin, ''People commute on sidewalks, too, not just on roads," said Joey Trisolini, of Bike Punx, a noncompetitive bicycle group. "We can't fix problems for cars by causing problems for people on sidewalks." Although Bike Punx is not as well back through traditional sources we are none the less supported by out community and members. Our club holds similar lines to Black Lable, Rat Pack, and C.H.U.N.K. 666 all bicycle gangs that all have pages found on wikipedia.66.91.112.209 12:07, 15 September 2007 (UTC)J Atencio
