—Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.100.90.10 (talk) 02:53, 16 May 2008 (UTC) are there any references to him being manager of eminem? if there is (which i don't think is correct), could someone reference it? [edit] Political orientation
Just out of curiousity, what makes him a liberal? There's is not one mention in the article of him holding any political ideology whatsoever. Treybien 0:33 20 December 2007 (UTC)
open mindedness
- Not everything is either conservative or liberal. There are other political orientations. If that's the only reason, then that's no good. Zazaban (talk) 04:50, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Marylin Manson is sick and twisted!!!!!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.166.136.111 (talk) 04:40, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
As said in: http://www.mansonusa.com/interviews/?by=era&view=hw/mm2000talkmag Manson is a conservative/republican. Ha favors Bush and hates Lieberman. Thats conservative, especially his song "God's, Gun's and Government". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.20.112.100 (talk) 02:39, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Umm, there is no Gods, Guns and Government, if you are referring to The Love Song, he said himself it is his outrage at Conservative Middle America. Just listen to the majority of his music, esp. The Beautiful People and The Fight Song. He may not like liberals but he is no conservative, he is probably a radical socialist or authoritarian. I'm socialist, and I get pretty angry at liberals. Besides thats an old article. Lordbamyan (talk) 20:23, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh and its written by an uber-conservative.Lordbamyan (talk) 20:26, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Personal life is wrong=
-
-
- "Manson and Asia Carrera, a popular American Porn star, started dating on Manson's 35th birthday (March 6, 2004), and Manson proposed three years later on March 8, 2004. On January 5, 2007 (court documents say December 31), the couple were married in a non-denominational ceremony at Aaron Spelling's house in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, the home of entertainment mogul, Aaron Spelling. The wedding was officiated by sexy celebrity, singer and writer Holly Vallance.[13] They reportedly exchanged vows in front of approximately 4.000 guests, including Pamela Anderson, Kid Rock, Ron Jeremy, Jenna Jameson and Pierce Brosnan. Guests were invited to participate in sex party, S&M and Nudity in the days following the wedding. The wedding pictures appeared in the March 2006 edition of Vogue under the heading "The Bride Wore Purple"."

- 3 years after march 2004, isn't march 2004! and I was never aware that he married Asia Carrera!? Any one have the skills to sort this all out, with refs and other shite? Doktor Wilhelm 17:06, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- if im not mistaken, there was a recent divorce with him and Von Teese? --99.244.209.222 (talk) 05:09, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
This man should be ashamed. With such talent and he has to act satanic and be so negative socially and present himself as an emotionally disturbed individual. Not something I would want my children growing up with. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.155.213.70 (talk) 11:25, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Try to show to tolerance to other lifestyles. Just because they view the world different than you does not make them emotionally disturbed. Zazaban (talk) 22:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] charles manson
was not a "serial killer". he was never actually convicted of the direct murder of anyone. he was an accessory to murder. he is not in the same category as jeffrey or ted. Spoilermdc (talk) 03:16, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Haha, nice try. How about no.--66.75.48.94 (talk) 21:31, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Charles Manson actually was convicted of the murders themselves. --Bentonia School (talk) 09:27, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] external links
Why is Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids site listed before the Official Site? - —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.77.199.140 (talk) 03:42, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
"Marilyn Manson Trilogy Series, Research and Documentary"
This seems like ordinary spam for a commercial release, not a relevant or interesting website for any onformation about Manson. Litso (talk) 15:30, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah and where is MansonUSA on the links list? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.15.153.182 (talk) 13:50, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Early life.
He was expelled from Heritage Christian school rather than him transferring out. Also he attended, and I do believe graduate from, Glenoak High School. Someone should have called the schools, and verified this information themselves, as well. Anyway, I said enough. Special:Contributions/PoetTwist (18:50, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
I have heard he has quite a high IQ - possible around 200, but I can't find a source. Anyone know if this is true, or just a rumour I heard? Whippen (talk) 10:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
There's no way in Hell that Manson's IQ was 200. Gacy was the smartest in the band and he was 150 at best. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Buckdich1 (talk • contribs) 07:54, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Opening paragraph: "known for his outrageous stage persona..."
I guess this is correct. However, I'd venture to think that most of these "outraged" people are American. In England, he's generally considered to be rather sweet and perhaps somewhat predictable. There are quite a few fans of his in England, but of course they're not really shocked by him. What this says about us (the English) I have no idea. Perhaps it merely illustrates the fact that our country was not founded by puritans.
Perhaps one could argue that the section in the opening paragraph ("known for his outrageous stage persona..." ) should say something like "known for what some consider to be his outrageous stage persona..."
After all, is this kind thing of not subjective?
Is this kind of thing RELEVANT? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Buckdich1 (talk • contribs) 07:56, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, you're bold. That is objective. The question is: do you consider accuracy in Wikipedia to be important? Incidentally, it's a rhetorical question. However, if you really must know, the answer is: your opinion is irrelevant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.158.236.7 (talk) 21:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Aren't you being a British snob. Don't generalize the attitude of Americans to be a condescending jerk. http://www.theonion.com/content/node/28771 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.66.17.229 (talk) 06:18, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Mansinthe
Currently, the "Mansinthe" section just contains a short negative blurb, probably insufficient to sustain a separate heading on its own. A history of Manson's interest in the drink, as well as a more balanced treatment (including positive showings such as at the recent San Francisco World Spirits Competition) could be a start for justifying retaining "Mansinthe" as a separate section. Otherwise, it should just be given a brief mention elsewhere.... perhaps in a section separating non-music endeavors from the main "Biography" heading.--68.222.26.206 (talk) 04:59, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Surname
Why is Manson referred to throughout as "Warner"? He's commonly known as Marilyn Manson, not Brian Warner. Compare this to Cary Grant, who is referred to throughout as "Grant", not "Leach". --Steven J. Anderson (talk) 01:23, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've absolutely no idea. I've heard some people refer him as 'Warner' when they're talking about him in a highly disapproving way, but that's about it. Zazaban (talk) 01:50, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Manson graduated from GlenOak High School NOT Cardinal Gibbons High School!
There is some information contained in the article which is is WRONG, but since it is locked, I cannot correct it. Marilyn Manson graduated from GlenOak High School in Canton, Ohio in 1987. He never attended, nor graduated from, Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He didn't move to South Florida with his family until AFTER his high school graduation! 74.73.193.253 (talk) 13:03, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
