Mariel's father, Jack, did not have a farm in Ketchum. He had a house. Mariel and Margaux had an older sister, Joan, or usually called Muffet. She achieved fame first with the publication of her novel, Rosebud, ( paperback 1975) and then co-authored a cookbook in 1978, The Picnic Gourmet.
