Talk:Marie Vorobieff

It is worth pointing out that Marevna's art is absolutely terrible. Her work is not a good example of either cubism or pointillism and it has only once been displayed at a world class gallery. (What was going through the Guggenheim curator's head, I'll never know.) Le poulet noir 16:00, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Links
This article is now roughly 4 lines with 18 links. Seems excessive in view of WP:NOT. --JJay 20:07, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
Granted. Because of the earlier vandalism this article had been hurridly re-started in order to give an indication of the merits and indeed importance of the subject. Maybe therefore it ought to be marked a "stub", so that it attracts competent editors who can turn some of the material of the links into text. On the other hand, the links tend to contain paintings, which in view of the copyright restrictions presumably preventing an uploading into Wiki Commons, therefore help the reader to get a more rounded picture. Going by the auction catalogues, the appreciation of Marevna's work seems to be on the increase, so it may be worth expending further effort on shaping this article. 09:02, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
