Talk:Marie-Noelle Marquis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I would like to formally challenge the deletion suggestion here and now.
I fully admit, Ms. Marquis is not an extremely famous actress, at least in America. However in the matter of fame, where exactly does one draw the line, in terms of deciding whether or not the person deserves a Wikipedia Entry? The article itself has proper citations and a real filmography. Ms. Marquis herself is easily verifiable as a legitimate actress through a simple web-search. You can also find plenty of photos of her as well, although I'm not sure if any are copyrighted or not, which is why I haven't added one yet.
On the other hand, if anyone else could find more information that would add to the depth of this entry, that would be most welcome. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nuada79 (talk • contribs) 05:01, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I just looked over the Wikipedia guidelines for biographies. It talks about actors that have been featured multiple times, which would seem to put the entry in the clear. But if the request for deletion has been retracted, then I suppose it is a moot point and all is well in Wikiville.
