Adding a list of sources to the talk page doesn't cut the mustard!
- You need to ensure that the article page actually asserts notability.
- Cites from local or specialist publications don't substantiate a claim to notability.
- You need to use the cites as references to support the assertions.
This article looks like a candidate for speedy deletion (again)

- Yes, I know. Been a little busy. The Boston Irish piece actually is a pretty good biography. I intend to read these sources, and improve the article. Feel free to lend a hand, in addition to criticism. But if you must, please send it to AfD rather than speedy it again, because I will only contest and get it restored again, until I have time to fix it. - Crockspot 21:12, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

- It seems to me that it would be better to marshal your sources, sufficient to create an article that isn't going to be put forward for deletion, rather than creating the article in this form, and spending time on defending a poor article. Mayalld 07:14, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- As I said, I'm working on it. The article already existed, but was deleted, and I wasn't sure what was here, so I had it restored to see what it contained. Then I looked up sources, and spent a considerable amount of time separating the news articles about her from the thousands of news articles written by her. Now I am about half way through reading those sources. In another day or so, I will start editing the content, and sourcing what I edit. If you have a problem with my methodology, then I suggest you nominate it for AfD, and let me get on with the work. - Crockspot 12:38, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More content
I have added some biographical background and career info, have to stop for now, but will work on it more later. - Crockspot 02:12, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
