The page stated as source in fact states Suzaku on WtW forums as their source: "The following info was posted in this topic by Suzaku" however the WtW forums are currently down. I believe Suzaku has an account here though, so may be able to assist if he made the original translation. Shiroi Hane 03:27, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

I've invited WtW-Suzaku via their talk page. Shiroi Hane 03:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
I posted the original translations, and Vande (who runs that website) gets her information from With the Will. I don't know what the article looked like before it was taken down for "copyright enfringement". I don't really get how it would be considered that anyway, since it's just a translation of information from a Japanese magazine. Vande's own article on her site is just the one I posted on WtW, slightly edited. And it's not even as accurate. *shrug* WtW-Suzaku 17:04, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
After looking at the history... I don't even see, at all, how this is at all like the one on Vande's site. But then again, most of the Savers info on wikipedia appears to have just been c/ped from WtW Forums. Oh, and Shiroi, they aren't down; www.withthewill.net. We've asked people to link via that URL, which until recently was just a redirect. But it seems that people instead were linking to the old URL, and as such, they are all now dead links.
why the hell did this guy have to go and lock up the article instead of putting a notice on to change it? It'd be faster and less involved for us to re-write it.. -- Ned Scott 22:40, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] other savers character info

should we be worried about the other Savers' character info being flagged by this guy too? -- Ned Scott 02:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

I rewrote the article. The text as is was cluky and inappropriate in tone anyway. Other articles should probably be rewrote in that perspective too, especially the big chunk User:Amigobro2 dumped over at Digimon Savers. Several of his contributions have been in good faith, but inappropriate, such as uploading several versions of the pics of the digimentals, but I'm not touching it until I start working on human character articles. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Masaruon2.JPG

Image:Masaruon2.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:45, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] In Universe Tag

It seems that a lot of work has been done to make this article fit WP:FICT, but one element in particular seems to still be missing: a proper lead-in section. I am also concerned that the "Heading to the Digital World" section is too long. I haven't seen Data Squad or Savers yet, so I don't know what information isn't essential, but some of it probably needs to be relocated to the Digimon: Data Squad article. What's left should probably be divided into further sections.

You might wonder why I put shortening sections under the header In Universe Tag. You see, spending too much time on a particular section without using "fiction words" (such as "is shown to", "is revealed to the audience as", "appears on television to be", etc.) can create the impression of an in-universe POV. You need to remember to remind the reader every so often that what they are reading is fiction. Good section titles can do this.

Well, that's my $0.02, I suggest that any further discussions on this matter be put under this section. If anyone knows how to make the in-universe tag point to this section, please do.

Plot sections have a tendency to be overlong across Wikipedia, but that particular section ahs no reason whatsoever to be split off "History" to begin with. Circeus 17:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Ended up nuking the whole section. Way overdetailed, and skip nearly ¾ of the series' plot. Circeus 17:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
