[edit] Wisconsin??

"Golda Meir of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, becomes Prime Minister of Israel."

This sort of Amero-centricism is idiotic. Isn't there anything more important you could say about the first female prime minister of Israel (third in the whole world!) other than the fact that she spent fifteen years of her life in the United States? 134.74.21.230 18:56, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Relief Society Organization

Mufka, I noticed you removed my addition of the organization of the Relief Society that happened on this day, 1842. Did I break any guidelines by adding it or did it need sources? I'm pretty sure I had the links on it correct. Just wondering why it was removed. Thanks! Mateoparks (talk) 22:57, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

The founding of most organizations are not globally notable in and of themselves. Even if organizations ultimately have global impact, the date of the founding generally is not notable. This date does not mark a turning point in society or a social milestone. It also seems that this particular society would have little impact or notability outside the LDS. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 23:22, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
