Marcella Detroit (born Marcy Levy on June 21, 1959)

She first began playing with the Bob Seger band in the early 1970s, before joining Eric Clapton’s band in 1974.

Are these two pieces of information consistent?!

My question as well, she seems pretty young to be touring and writing "Lay Down Sally". Can someone confirm with non-wikipedia based information. dml 03:50, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

While I agree 1952 seems a more likely birthdate given her her career stats, unless someone can provide viable evidence of it, surely the 1959 birth date should remain given this is the one Detroit/Levy herself uses? Smurfmeister (talk) 12:13, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
