[edit] Pulikot Mar Dionysius I/II

Is this the same person as Pulikot Mar Dionysius II? The articles are somewhat confusingly written, but one possible interpretation is that the same man first became "Mar Thoma" but later took the name "Dionysious". If that is so, the articles should be merged. If not, some confusing points need explanation. E.g., in the sentence

But subsequently, as desired by Col. Monroe the British resident, he was consecrated as Pulikot Mar Dionysius II by Anjoor Mar Philixenos.
