Red Orchestra: Mare Nostrum

Mare Nostrum is a tactical first-person shooter total conversion developed by Sandstorm Productions, for the PC game, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. Set on the North African front during World War II between 1940 and 1943, Mare Nostrum depicts the struggle between the Allied forces of the British Commonwealth against the Axis forces of Germany and Italy.

Mare Nostrum is a stand alone modification for Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45. The first versions add the British Commonwealth faction to the game. In subsequent updates Sandstorm Productions plan to add Italian forces as well as more maps, vehicles and weapons. The open beta release is due on March 1st 2008.
