Marysol Castro

Marysol Castro (b. September 29, 1976) is the weather anchor for ABC's Good Morning America Weekend Edition. In addition to that, she frequently writes feature stories for the network. Since 2005, she has been the street reporter for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Before being hired by ABC News, Castro was a general assignment reporter for WPIX in New York. Before her job at WPIX, she worked as a reporter for News 12 in The Bronx.
She attended Westtown School, a Quaker boarding school in Pennsylvania for High School.
She then attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
She also graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. [1]
