Maryland Route 765 is a two-lane state highway located in Calvert County, Maryland. Route 765 is not continuous, however, but rather is made up of several segments. The road came into being as a result of the dualization of Maryland Route 2-Maryland Route 4 throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Route 765 in fact constitutes portions of the former alignment of Route 2-4 in the southern portion of Calvert County.

The first section of Route 765 is located in Prince Frederick and branches off of Route 2-4 just south of Dares Beach Road. Route 765 serves as Prince Frederick's designated Main Street, and cuts through the downtown portion of town past the Calvert County courthouse and governmental center. Route 765 continues to parallel Route 2-4 to the east until rejoining it south of Prince Frederick.

Route 765 re-appears at Port Republic where it again parallels Route 2-4 to the east. Here, it is designated as St. Leonard Road, and serves as the main road through the central business district of St. Leonard. Route 765 rejoins Route 2-4 south of St. Leonard.

Route 765 briefly re-appears to the west of Route 2-4 for an approximately one mile stretch as Pardoe Road, and then crosses Route 2-4 to become H.G. Trueman Road and parallels Route 2-4 to the east. It passes through the central business district of Lusby and continues south toward Solomons. Route 765 technically ends at the diverging point of Route 2 and Route 4 in Solomons although the road continues as Maryland Route 2 through downtown Solomons to the end of the island.
