Maryland Route 662 is a state highway in Queen Anne's and Talbot Counites in Maryland. The route is the designation of two former segments of U.S. Route 50 between Easton and Wye Mills. The southern segment of Maryland Route 662 begins at Maryland Route 322 north of Easton where it parallels US 50 to the west as Centreville Road. The road name changes to Longwoods Road at the intersection with Airport Road, which runs a short distance east to US 50 at the southern terminus of Maryland Route 309. The route then crosses US 50 and becomes Old Skipton Road. It then continues north to US 50 in Skipton, where the southern segment of Maryland Route 662 ends. Just north of there, the northern segment of Maryland Route 662 branches off of US 50 and heads to the west of US 50 on Old Wye Mills Road. It passes through the town of Wye Mills, where it passes by the site of the Wye Oak, the largest white oak tree in the United States until it was destroyed by a thunderstorm in 2002. In Wye Mills, Maryland Route 662 intersects Maryland Route 404 and Maryland Route 213. It then continues north of Wye Mills where it ends at US 50.
