Maryland Route 404 Business is a business route of Maryland Route 404 in the town of Denton in Caroline County, Maryland. The route preserves the former alignment of Maryland Route 404 that was bypassed by the divided, four-lane Denton Bypass.
Maryland Route 404 Business branches off from Maryland Route 404 in West Denton. It intersects Maryland Route 328 and then crosses the Choptank River into Denton, where it follows Franklin Street eastbound and Gay Street westbound. The one-way pair carries the route through downtown Denton, where it intersects Maryland Route 619, which preserves a part of the former alignment of Maryland Route 313 through Denton. Maryland Route 404 Business becomes two-way at the eastern edge of Denton, where it ends at Maryland Route 313 and Maryland Route 404.
