[edit] Route description
Maryland Route 318 runs east from MD 16/331 in Preston on Preston Road, following the border of Caroline and Dorchester Counties. Just west of Federalsburg, the road entirely enters Caroline County. Maryland Route 318 bypasses the town of Federalsburg to the south and west along with Maryland Route 313. It then continues east and intersects Maryland Route 315 on the eastern edge of Federalsburg. Maryland Route 318 then heads east on Bridgeville Road towards the Delaware border.
