Maryland Route 284 is a road in Chesapeake City in Cecil County, Maryland.
[edit] Route description
Maryland 284 follows Hemphill Street as an alternate route to Lock Street (Maryland 285) through Chesapeake City. The road runs about a quarter mile before ending at Biddle Street (Maryland 285).
The northern reaches of Hemphill Street were the original route of U.S. Route 213 before the new bridge was built and what is now Maryland 213 bypassed the town.
