Maryland Route 12 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The route runs from U.S. Route 13 Business in the city of Salisbury in Wicomico County south to the Virginia border south of Stockton in Worcester County, where it continues into Virginia as Secondary State Route 679.

[edit] Route Description

Maryland Route 12 heads southeast from US 13 Business in downtown Salisbury on Snow Hill Road. Just outside of Salisbury, the route features an interchange with the U.S. Route 13 Salisbury Bypass. Maryland Route 12 continues into Worcester County, where it passes by tracts of the Pocomoke State Forest. In Indiantown, the route intersects Maryland Route 354, which runs north to Willards.

Maryland Route 12 then crosses the Pocomoke River into the town of Snow Hill, the county seat of Worcester County. It intersects U.S. Route 113 Business in the center of town and U.S. Route 113 just south of Snow Hill. Maryland Route 12 then continues south, intersecting Maryland Route 366 in Stockton, before reaching the Virginia border.
